Breathwork Session Checklist
WHAT TO WEAR
Unless instructed otherwise, please wear comfortable, all-white attire to your session. This request extends beyond aesthetics; wearing all white signifies the sacred nature of our work together, fostering a sense of community, unity, and levity. If all-white isn't in your wardrobe, consider visiting local thrift stores or discount shops for suitable alternatives.
COME ON AN EMPTY STOMACH
Arriving on an empty stomach is crucial for maximizing your session's benefits. Avoid solid food for at least 8 hours before your session. Consider fasting or having only juice the day before—committing to this request is a beautiful and sincere effort that enhances your experience.
BEDDING AND COMFORT ITEMS
If you haven't opted for a VIP reservation, bring your comfort items:
Yoga mat or a comfortable sleeping pad.
Light blanket.
Eye covering.
Comfortable bolster, pillow, or neck roll.
SET A CLEAR INTENTION
Take a moment before your session to meditate on your intention for the ceremony. The clearer your intention, the more you'll gain from the experience. Whether seeking relief from past trauma or healing in mind and body, your intention guides your journey.
Examples of intentions:
"Lord, help me find peace from the passing of my mother/father."
"Divine Mother, assist me in being a better parent, lover, sibling."
"Heavenly Father, support my journey to surrender alcohol dependency."
"Great Spirit, grant me confidence and the ability to speak up for myself."
"Universe, help me move on from my past relationship and embrace a new chapter."
BRING AN ITEM FOR THE ALTAR
While not mandatory, consider bringing an item for the altar—a photo, flower, or anything significant to you. This item may align with your intention. Please take it home after the ceremony. More flowers for the altar are always welcome!
HYDRATION
Water and cold-pressed juices will be available for purchase. Bringing a water bottle is a good idea to stay hydrated during our time together.
JOURNAL
Bring a journal and writing tool to capture any meaningful insights during or after the session. We'll set aside time for everyone to journal afterward, ensuring your valuable insights are preserved.
KEEP AN OPEN HEART WITH NO EXPECTATIONS
Approach the ceremony with an open heart and mind, free from expectations. Trust the process; you'll receive precisely what you need. The fact that you're here is a significant step, and returning participants often find deeper cleansing and healing with each session.
POST-SESSION SELF-CARE
After the ceremony, take time for personal reflection. Consider how your experiences apply to your life and plan how to integrate insights gained during this powerful modality.
QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS
Feel free to reach out to Michael before the session with any questions or concerns. We want you to feel supported and confident for your ceremony.
GROUP DYNAMICS AND ENERGY
Everyone present contributes to our collective energy. Introduce yourself, spark conversations, and embrace the opportunity to build connections within our supportive community.
OTHER IMPORTANT REQUESTS
Refrain from wearing colognes or perfumes.
Ensure your phone is on airplane mode.
Avoid taking phone calls during the ceremony.
We look forward to sharing this transformative experience with you and appreciate your commitment to your well-being. Safe travels on your journey!
Welcome to The Family
We’re excited to welcome you to our Ecstatic Breathwork and Soundbath ceremonial offering — a transformative journey into profound healing, personal growth, and spiritual insight. As your guide, I appreciate your curiosity and trust in these powerful modalities.
Breathwork, on its own, is a dynamic catalyst for change. When paired with our immersive soundbaths, the healing experience reaches sublime depths. Having explored various healing modalities, including psychedelic entheogens and breathwork, I can confidently say that the breath’s transformative power rivals that of DMT or magic mushrooms — minus the risks of legal entanglements or hefty price tags!
In a humorous twist of fate, my background has shifted from selling substances at nightclubs and parties to humbly offering breathwork and sound healing in yoga studios and private homes. While it’s been two decades since I sold illicit substances, I now realize I’m still in the business of getting people high — albeit in a much healthier and natural way. We’re tapping into the hidden capabilities inherent in every human being, elevating ourselves with the bliss of life itself.
Welcome to the work, you’ve found your tribe!
